Cynthia L. Bashore Esq.

Cynthia Bashore concentrates her practice on family and entertainment law. She is an experienced litigator, having handled hundreds of divorce, custody, child and spousal support, and equitable distribution matters for over 20 years. Cindy also had extensive litigation experience representing community associations, victims of personal injury and contractor litigation. She is also a certified mediator and arbitrator.

Cindy has been selected by Philadelphia Magazine as a Pennsylvania Super Lawyer in child advocacy in 2011. The Super Lawyer selection process includes peer nominations, independent research of attorneys, and a blue ribbon panel review process. Cindy has also been practicing entertainment law since 1991 in the areas of theater, television, film and writing. Cindy is experienced in structuring, negotiating and drafting a wide variety of entertainment related agreements. Cindy's clients include screenwriters, novelists, actors, dancers, composers, artists, producers and creators of new media content.

Cindy has been selected to speak in college forums for students, professors and community professionals on the economy's effect on divorce and families, and she has written articles for legal publications on family law and community association matters.

She has served on various committees over the years, most recently including the Montgomery Bar Association Family Law Section discovery, case law and mediation committees.

A graduate of California Western School of Law (J.D. 1991), Cindy received her undergraduate degree in Psychology from Temple University (B.A. 1988). Cindy is licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania and California.
